Allie Baldelli, the wife of Twins manager Rocco Baldelli, couldn’t have made the couple’s pregnancy announcement on Wednesday any more perfect.
The couple’s almost two-year-old daughter Louisa held pictures of the ultrasounds around her head in a series of pictures posted by Allie on Instagram. In a video, Louisa says there are “two babies” coming.
Yes, you got that right. The manager of the Twins is going to have twins of his own.
There will surely be a lot of jokes made about the coincidence of Baldelli managing the “twins” on and off the field from here on out. The couple is also having two boys, as Allie wrote in her post.
The Baldelli twins are expected in September, meaning the MLB season will still be going on. Right now, the Minnesota Twins rank first in the American League Central with a 26–24 record, the only record above .500 in their division.
