Let the Super Bowl 58 betting begin.
But here’s a PSA (and also: I learned something today!): If you want to bet on how many times CBS’s broadcast will show Taylor Swift during the big game with an over/under — I’ll say it’s 5.5 and take the over, but not by much! — it may not be that easy.
But why is that? We’ve seen plenty of those Super Bowl prop bets when it comes to significant others … haven’t we? It turns out that maybe making a prop like that is trickier than it seems, because a CBS producer could theoretically bet their life savings on the bet and manipulate it, as Darren Rovell pointed out:
For those wondering, the “How many times will Taylor Swift be seen on TV during the Super Bowl?” prop will not be offered in most states.
It’s not something that happens on the field of play and technically can be rigged by a producer.

In case you’re wondering.
