Authorities in Wisconsin are investigating a high-profile animal rights case after a group of activists removed beagles from a research facility and attempted to transport them to what they described as safer conditions.
The incident, which unfolded at a facility believed to be Ridglan Farms, resulted in police intercepting vehicles carrying the animals and arresting several individuals on suspicion of criminal offences.
