Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly only has two months to sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele after the Frenchman snubbed the Blues in the summer.
Dembele's future was uncertain heading into the summer transfer window before the France international chose to sign a two-year contract extension with the Catalan giants. The 25-year-old's performances so far this term could see him sign yet another renewal as he enters the final 18 months of his current deal.
Chelsea signed Raheem Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the summer but both have struggled to perform to their best as the Blues continue to struggle domestically. Barcelona were able to beat the west London outfit to deals for Jules Kounde and Raphinha, but now it looks as though Chelsea could exact their revenge by reigniting their interest in Dembele.
