Why the World Cup is being blamed for UK house prices dropping by an average of £3,832

The average asking price for a home entering the market in July saw a notable dip, falling by £3,832 month-on-month, according to property website Rightmove.

This 1.0 per cent decrease significantly outpaced the typical July decline of 0.2 per cent observed over the past decade.
