The Denver Broncos will wear white jerseys and blue pants when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2, the team announced Sunday.
The Broncos are wearing white at home to force the Steelers to wear black jerseys in the September heat. Ironically, the team’s new primary orange home jersey will make its debut on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next week as the Bucs employ a similar tactic against Denver.
The Broncos previously announced their jersey color for all 17 games this season, but players pick the color of their pants each week. Denver wore white jerseys and pants against the Seattle Seahawks last week. The blue pants will make their regular season debut today.

The Broncos’ home games this season will feature white (once), blue (once), throwback (twice) and orange (four times) jerseys. On the road, Denver will wear white jerseys with the exception of an orange jersey game against Tampa Bay in Week 3.
The team’s throwback look will make its debut when the Broncos host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5.
