Why Russia’s Ukraine war supplies might only last another 16 months

  • Ukraine ’s intelligence chief, Lieutenant General Oleh Ivashchenko, has predicted Russian military and economic resources will be depleted by 2028.
  • Ivashchenko stated that current Russian resources will only last another 16 months due to heavy battlefield losses and low morale.
  • Daily Russian casualties are currently outstripping Moscow 's recruitment rate of roughly 1,000 to 1,200 soldiers a day.
  • It comes as a Russian daylight drone attack targeted a busy shopping mall in the southeastern Ukrainian city of Pavlohrad.
  • The Pavlohrad attack killed at least five people and injured 67 others, including three teenage boys.
