- Supermodel Naomi Campbell has successfully overturned a five-year ban from acting as a charity trustee following a ruling by the First Tier Tribunal.
- The initial disqualification was imposed in 2024 by the Charity Commission after an investigation revealed serious financial mismanagement at Fashion For Relief, a charity founded by Campbell.
- Unauthorised expenditure included using charity funds for five-star hotel accommodation in Cannes , as well as spa treatments, room service, and cigarettes.
- The tribunal concluded that Campbell was deceived by fellow trustee Bianka Hellmich, who concealed unauthorised payments and financial failures from her.
- Judges Helen Neville and James Armstrong-Holmes stated that whilst serious misconduct occurred within the organisation, the primary failures resulted directly from Hellmich's conduct.
