Manchester United face Leeds United for the first time in almost 12 months tonight, but supporters based in the United Kingdom will not be able to watch the match live on television.
It will be the first time that the rivalry won't be broadcast since Leeds were promoted back to the Premier League ahead of the 2020/21 season. Each of the previous four meetings over the previous pair of seasons was shown by either BT Sport or Sky Sports, as is the reverse fixture at Elland Road on Sunday, but the midweek meeting is the first exception.
United were due to play host at Old Trafford in mid-September, but that match was postponed in the aftermath of the Queen's death. Despite that, it was a decision made by the Premier League way back at the start of July that is depriving supporters of seeing this midweek's action on TV.
