In hindu mythology every god represents a different power of the universe. Some are linked with creation, some are with destruction and some are with protection and balance. Among all of them, Vishnu is known as the preserver. His main role is to protect the world and maintain order.
Because of this role Vishnu is always shown as calm and peaceful. He is rarely shown angry or losing his temper. This does not mean that he is weak. Hindu scriptures describe him as one of the most powerful deities. His calm nature reflects control, wisdom, and responsibility rather than a lack of strength.
