Liverpool will look to make a positive impression in their final Dubai Super Cup fixture on Friday afternoon, which sees Jurgen Klopp's side taking on AC Milan.
The Reds were defeated 3-1 by Lyon in the competition on Sunday evening, with Fabio Carvalho's early goal cancelled out by finishes from Alexandre Lacazette (2) and Bradley Barcola for the French side.
Despite losing this contest, a penalty shootout then followed as Liverpool aimed to restore some pride. Kostas Tsimikas, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita were all on target from 12-yards, but it was Lyon who prevailed as 5-3 winners in the end.

Arsenal have already clinched the Dubai Super Cup after beating both AC Milan and Lyon, but the Reds' match with the former will go to penalties regardless of the scoreline in today's match. The reason behind this relates to the tournament rules, which state spot-kicks take place after proceedings as teams battle to secure an additional group point.
Points are awarded as follows:
A win - three points
A draw - each team earns two points
A penalty shootout will be held after every match, with the winning side earning an extra point
