Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid are rumoured to be in a relationship - and there's one person they are being careful to hide it from.
The Hollywood actor, who is celebrating his 48th birthday today, and the 27-year-old model first set tongues wagging in September when they were spotted cosying up together at a friend's party in New York City during Fashion Week.
And now it seems they might actually be a proper couple - with Leo turning over a new leaf having famously never publicly dated a woman over 25 in the past.
The Titanic star could be seen placing his hands on Gigi's shoulders, while the pair were spotted on a couple of occasions leaning over a table to whisper into each others' ears.
A source close to the couple told Page Six that whilst they are now dating, they are still 'taking it slow' and are hanging out both as a pair and in groups.
They explained: "[DiCaprio] is not someone who is in-and-out of relationships. He doesn't jump around hooking up. They are taking it slow."
But another site claimed that Gigi only sw their relationship as a romantic one - and it was Leo doing all the chasing.
"Leo does have his sights set on Gigi, but she hasn't shown an interest," a source told Us Weekly.
"They're friends, but she doesn’t want to be romantic with [him] right now."
However it seems that Leo, who split suddenly from 25-year old Camila Morrone this summer after four years together, has now managed to win Gigi over.
But they are being mindful of her ex-boyfriend, Zayn Malik, who split from Gigig last year and is the father of her daughter, Khai.
"Gigi and Leo have been seeing each other and are very into each other, but Gigi has been trying to keep things low-key with their relationship," a source told Entertainment Tonight this week.
"They are trying to keep things private and not show too much PDA while out together."
The source added: "Gigi is trying to be mindful of Zayn's feelings and doesn't want to be disrespectful to him with her new relationship. Gigi and Zayn both only want what is best for each other. They are doing their best to have a cordial relationship, be the best parents they can be, and co-parent Khai in a healthy way."
In September, it was noticed that Zayn had stopped following Gigi on Instagram after reporters emerged she was dating Leo.
It's been stated that the couple have a "ton of mutual friends" in common and "everyone's happy to see them together".
But it's also been reported that Bella Hadid has told her younger sister that he's 'too good' for Leonardo.
A source told Heat magazine: "Bella thinks that Gigi's too good for Leo, and the way he leapt to Gigi seemingly without a thought for his previous girlfriend gives Bella the shivers."
They added: "Her worry is that Gigi could wind up hurt and embarrassed."
In the wake of the Leo rumours, Bella reportedly thinks Gigi should be focusing on her role as a mum and not getting caught up with one of Hollywood's "biggest model chasers".
Despite this, the source conceded that Gigi is going to carry on seeing the actor even though her sister and the rest of her family "don't like him".
Earlier this month, the pair were ignited fresh romance rumours after they were 'seen arriving together' at a Halloween bash at Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York.
The Titanic actor and model were reportedly 'spotted together onboard a party bus' and rocked up to the party in spooky costumes.
According to an eye-witness, Leo wore a scary "half monster, half zombie" mask most of the night, "unless he was drinking," they explained.
It remains to be seen whether Leonardo and Gigi are in a relationship and whether they will publicly confirm the speculated romance.
There was a theory going round that Leo won't date a woman over the age of 25 years old - and it's hard to argue with the evidence.
Fans speculated for years that the actor breaks up with women the moment they reach a quarter-of-a-century old.
He previously dated Gisele Bundchen when he was 24 and she was 18, but they broke up when the supermodel turned 23.
Leo then went on to date Bar Refaeli in 2005, with that relationship ending when she was 25, before he dated Gossip Girl's Blake Lively in 2011 when she was 23 years old.
His next few girlfriends were all in their early twenties and he split up with Kelly Rohrbach and Nina Agdal when they turned 25.
Most recently, the Wolf of Wall Street actor ended things with ex-girlfriend Camila Morrone, who reached the milestone birthday over the summer.
