Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is a wanted man this summer. Several Premier League sides are reportedly interested in signing the 26-year-old after he helped keep Leeds in the top-flight for another season.
Phillips’ reputation in the last four years has grown enormously – he has gone from a rotational player under the likes of Paul Heckingbottom and Thomas Christiansen, to a regular in England’s midfield that were a penalty shootout away from ending their 55 year wait for silverwhere.
Manchester City are thought to be at the front of the queue for Phillips’ signature this summer, if he decides it is time to leave his boyhood club. Leeds still reportedly harness hope that he will stay and sign a new deal, as they look to produce a season much improved on the previous one.
