Nottingham Forest forward Jesse Lingard will not feature in this evening's friendly against Stoke City.
The two teams are meeting at the Loughborough University Stadium tonight, in what will be the first of four friendlies for Forest ahead of their return to competitive football.
One notable absentee in the Forest squad for tonight's match is Jesse Lingard, who has not travelled and is not a part of the match day squad.

Lingard is absent through illness, it is understood. It is not clear whether he will recover in time to travel to Greece for Forest's training camp and back-to-back friendlies.
Speaking about the World Cup break last month, Lingard said: "It’s obviously different to have a World Cup in winter, in the middle of the domestic season. As a Nottingham Forest player, it’s annoying that it came as we were gaining some momentum.
"But strange things happen all the time in football and as a player you adapt. Ask any player whether they want to be at this World Cup and the vast majority will say bring it on."
