Why Jermain Defoe has quit as Woking boss after just six games

  • Woking FC issued a statement thanking Defoe for his contribution and wishing him success, while reaffirming their focus on club objectives.
  • The former England international, who scored 20 times for his country, leaves the club with immediate effect.
