Anyone turning on ITV on Saturday night expecting to see Ant and Dec in action on Saturday Night Takeaway will be disappointed as the show has been cancelled this week.
Since it returned last month, the Geordie duo’s show has been massively entertaining, featuring everything from their fabulous drag makeover to Jeremy Clarkson launching into a foul mouthed rant as he became the victim of Undercover.
Last week’s show saw Sam Fender become the latest End of the Show Show performer. And if you think it’s been rather white on the announcement front for Takeaway’s next episode there’s a big reason why - it won’t be until next Saturday, March 26.

Why is Saturday Takeaway not on?
While it’s always a big ratings winner for ITV, Saturday Night Takeaway has been shelved to make way for live coverage of the Six Nations rugby.
The England v France dominates proceedings on ITV on Saturday, with it on from 7.15-10.30pm, meaning that Starstruck has also been pulled from the schedules, on the week the new talent show was set to air its final.
Ant and Dec took to social media on Thursday night to remind fans of Takeaway’s cancellatio n: "Remember there’s no show this weekend as we pass Saturday night over to the rugby. "But they’re only borrowing it! We’ll be keeping your Takeaway warm until it all kicks off again in studio next Saturday 26th March."
The lads first announced there'd be no Takeaway this week during last Saturday's episode, with the news not going down very well at all with many viewers at home.
