From ages it has been a sort of tradition that after graduating people next step was getting married but in today's generation we can see less. For this generation marriage is not a natural next step for them, Gen Z is approaching it with hesitation. And that hesitation is not rebellion. It is a reflection. This generation has seen relationships working well on social media and in real life they are not the same like what they were posting. They have watched couples fight, break up, and share personal problems online. Many of them have also seen their own parents go through divorce, money problems, or emotional distance in their marriages. So when Gen Z questions marriage, it is not because they don’t believe in love. It is because they want a relationship that feels safer, happier, and healthier than what they have seen around them.
