As many as nine Premier League clubs could be competing in European competitions next season.
Liverpool have already booked their place in next season's Champions League, which was confirmed courtesy of a 4-0 thrashing of Manchester United at the end of April. Jurgen Klopp's side have appeared in Europe's elite competition for the last five seasons, including the current campaign, and will be going for glory once next year.
Manchester City will also be joining the Reds in the Champions League, though the remaining two slots are still very much up for grabs. Chelsea and Arsenal currently occupy third and fourth position, though Tottenham Hotspur are likely to take the race for the top four down to the wire.

Liverpool's success in cup competitions will certainly be welcomed by those currently situated in the top half of the table, who will now have their chances of qualifying for one of the UEFA Europe League or UEFA Conference League. The winners of the EFL Cup are granted a place in the Conference League, though this will now go to the highest-placed at the end of the season not qualified for a UEFA competition.
The same procedure is also likely to apply for the FA Cup final between Chelsea and Liverpool, who are unlikely to benefit from the guaranteed Europa League qualification. Chelsea are on course to secure a Champions League finish, so this would again be distributed to another side in the division.
One scenario could see a total of nine English teams gracing Europe next campaign, though there is only one way in which this could occur. West Ham must win this season's Europa League, granting the Hammers a spot in next season's Champions League, and finish eighth or lower, while Leicester City must secure silverware in the Conference League and end the campaign eighth or lower.
The Foxes tasting success in this competition would earn Brendan Rodgers' side a place in the Europa League for 2022/23, setting up a total of nine teams in UEFA competitions.
