Djed Spence and Oliver Skipp are not part of the Tottenham squad for this evening's friendly match against Nice at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Antonio Conte has named a strong team to face the French side, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg returning to the XI after his time at the World Cup.
Son Heung-min and Eric Dier, who both played out in Qatar, are also part of the 26-man matchday party but both start on the bench. Conte does have some of his first-team stars missing for the Nice game, including Harry Kane, Lucas Moura, Spence and Skipp.
Speaking to SPURSPLAY ahead of the game, Conte did indicate that Spence, Skipp and Son were doubts for the encounter after suffering with a fever at the start of the week. While Son has recovered to take his place in the squad, the other two have missed out completely.

"For us, this could be a good game, but I have to be honest, we have some problems with some players, Sonny, in the last two days, didn’t have a training session because of a fever, the same with Skippy and Spence," explained the Italian on Tuesday. "I hope to recover Skippy for tomorrow, but today he didn’t train because he has a fever.
"It will be a good opportunity to see some young players and to give space, to give time to players who previously didn’t play a lot, like Bryan Gil, Harvey White, also Pape Sarr. It was good to have time to recover Ryan Sessegnon, he’s still not 100 per cent, but now he’s ready."
