Liverpool have confirmed the ticket details for the Community Shield clash later this month.
The Reds will take on Manchester City in the season’s opener on July 30 at the King Power Stadium at 5pm. Jurgen Klopp’s side won the FA Cup to earn their place in the showpiece, while Man City got in as Premier League winners from last term.
It has been confirmed that Liverpool will be allocated 12,055 tickets for the match at the King Power. The club have also explained that there will be four categories for the tickets, each with their own prices.

The most expensive tickets have been priced at £55 for adults and £45 for concessions, while the cheapest are £30 for adults and £25 for concessions. Liverpool have also stated that 156 tickets have a restricted view, and these will be £10 reductions, as well as a further 58 tickets with severely restricted views with a £12 reduction.
Liverpool also say that the selling criteria for the match will be based on attendance at FA Cup matches last season. Supporters wishing to attend the match can enter a ballot on the club’s website before July 11, and will then be notified if they are successful by 3pm on July 13.
The Community Shield is taking place at the King Power Stadium, the home of Leicester City, rather than Wembley Stadium. This is due to the national stadium being unavailable the weekend of the match.
This summer sees the Women’s European Championships take place in England, with the final due to be staged at Wembley on July 31, the day after the Community Shield.
