Christian Pulisic is once more not in the squad for Chelsea as they take on Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday. It's the 10th game he has missed in a row since suffering knee damage early on against Manchester City.
The 24-year-old has now only played 29% of the league minutes available to him, starting less than a third of the games too. In Europe his participation is even less.
As he approaches a key time in his Chelsea career, now competing against more teammates than ever before and with just under 18 months left on his contract, this is not the time to be sitting out games. In what is arguably Graham Potter's biggest game in charge so far - with his job on the line - Pulisic is once more having to watch on.

Speaking ahead of the game against Spurs the manager revealed the continued bad news, saying: "We've had a good week's training, everyone is available apart from N'Golo and Christian Pulisic. They are joining the warm-ups and will be more intergrated next week."
Pulisic returned to training earlier in the week, posting a picture of him with Mason Mount on Instagram. Having not played since January 5 is will be closing in on two months since his last appearance for the club. It has seen him miss out on the first leg tie against former club Borussia Dortmund with the American remaining a doubt for the return leg too.
Outside of that there is continued apprehension from the USMNT ahead of their CONCACAF Nations League matches in March. Pulisic remains the star attraction of that team despite losing the captaincy to Tyler Adams for the World Cup. He has managed to remain on top form for America despite struggling for Chelsea on the whole since moving in 2019.
His lack of certainty for the future and his fitness issues will only add to the worry for USMNT as they plan for the highly anticpiated rise of this current team around Pulisic for the 2026 World Cup.
Pulisic has missed 55 games since joining the club with more than 13 individual knocks keeping him out.
