Bryan Gil is not part of Antonio Conte's 20-man Tottenham squad for Thursday evening's Premier League game away at Man City. Coming into the head coach's thinking in recent weeks with game time coming his way, Gil came off the bench in the closing stages of last Sunday's 2-0 North London Derby defeat against Arsenal.
However, Conte does not have the Spaniard as an option from the bench at the Etihad Stadium this evening. football.london understands that Gil is not part of the squad in Manchester after sustaining a knock in training leading up to the game.
That leaves the Italian with just one attacking option in Richarlison on the substitutes' bench as Lucas Moura is still on the sidelines through injury. The Brazilian is joined on the bench by Fraser Forster, Matt Doherty, Davinson Sanchez, Japhet Tanganga, Ryan Sessegnon, Clement Lenglet, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr.

Conte will be hoping that Gil makes a swift recovery from his knock as Tottenham have some important games coming up. Travelling across the capital on Monday evening to face Fulham at Craven Cottage, the Lilywhites are in FA Cup action next Saturday when they visit Championship side Preston North End.
