Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is set to embark on his next managerial move in the near future with reports in Germany suggesting he will replace Julian Nagelsmann at Bayern Munich.
The German coach took the Blues from mediocrity to Champions League triumph against Manchester City in Porto. Tuchel also led the west Londoners to the Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup before being dismissed in September by Todd Boehly.
Tuchel has been out of work since then but now looks set to return to the Bundesliga. Despite Bayern sitting only one point below Tuchel's old side Borussia Dortmund in the league table, Nagelsmann now faces losing his job with various internal reasons playing a part in the decision.

Taking over at the Allianz Arena could see Tuchel come up against the Blues in the Champions League should the outcome of the upcoming quarter-final ties see Chelsea and the German giants meet.
Many in the football industry won't be surprised to see Tuchel make his return to coaching at such a prestigious club, including Mikel Arteta. Back in September, the Gunners boss called Tuchel's Stamford Bridge exit a shock after Todd Boehly spent over £250million in the transfer window prior.
Asked if he was surprised by the decision, Arteta said: "I was yes. It was right before training when we got the news.
"It is always sad for any colleague in this profession to get fired. Unfortunately we know how this works. Wish him the best of luck.
“It makes me realise that we have a profession that, in a big percent this is going to happen.
“We have to prepare for it and we have to enjoy the journey and we have to enjoy every day because you never know what’s coming.”
