By all accounts, Arsenal should soon confirm Matt Turner as their third signing of the summer transfer window following deals for Marquinhos and Fabio Vieira over the past week.
The goalkeeper had been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners in January as there were rumours of Bernd Leno leaving in a bid to play regular first-team football after losing his place in the side to Aaron Ramsdale at the beginning of last season. In the end, an agreement was struck between the two clubs for a summer transfer.
As reported by football.london , Arsenal will pay an initial £4.5m fee to sign the 27-year-old, although that could rise to £7.5m with further bonuses and interestingly the MLS outfit announced the move all the way back in February.
