Why Are People Wrapping Bubble Wrap Around the Pipes Under Their Sink?
A damp patch beneath the sink may come from condensation on cold-water pipes, but leaks can look similar. Properly fitted foam insulation can help control condensation and reduce heat loss – Shutterstock

Bubble wrap under the kitchen sink looks like the sort of home improvement that starts with a leftover shipping package and a little optimism. Each requires a different solution, even if all three happen in the same cramped cupboard.
