Kettle Cuisine has issued a recall of its Whole Foods Market Kitchen Minestrone Soup over a potential health risk to customers.
“The recall was initiated after it was discovered in-store that a single cup of soup was found to contain the incorrect product and that the soup in the cup contained Shrimp,” the FDA said in a statement. “People who have allergies to Crustacean Shellfish (Shrimp) run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product,” the recall notice continued.
