ITV's Britain's Got Talent returns to our screens on Saturday evening (October 16) with a two-hour special. But national treasures Ant and Dec will not be hosting.
The popular presenters confirmed in a tweet on Wednesday (October 12) that they'd both tested positive for coronavirus having felt unwell for a few days. The lovable Geordie pair have been forced to pull out of several work commitments - including the National Television Awards.
And Stephen Mulhern has stepped in to host the Britain's Got Talent special. Britain's Got Talent: The Ultimate Magician was filmed in front of a live studio audience on Tuesday. An air date for the special is to be announced.

Stephen is a regular face alongside the duo on shows such as Saturday Night Takeaway. And the BGT special, in which the champion would win £50,000, brings together the 10 most memorable and greatest magicians from past series, according to the Mirror. Judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams will be on the show.
However TV boss Simon Cowell will be missing due to filming commitments in the US, TVZone reported. Simon will be replaced by one-half of Penn & Teller - Penn Jillette - from the world-famous magician duo.
In their tweet earlier this week, And and Dec said: "Sadly, it’s true… We even get ill together! After feeling unwell a few days ago we both tested and we’re positive for Covid. We’re resting up at home and are so sorry we can’t be at #NTAs2022. Best of luck everyone - and get well soon to anyone else in the same boat x."
