A new arrival has landed in the village who seems to be linked to nanny Nicky Miligan, Ally arrived in the village during the latest episode of the ITV soap and appears to have his own agenda.
During Thursday's episode, viewers were introduced to Ally who is played by actor Josh Horrocks. The new arrival ran into Nicky and Gabby Thomas while they were busy planning their upcoming wedding.
It became quite obvious there was history between Nicky and Ally when the latter seemed gleeful to make Nicky squirm in front of his fiancée while issuing thinly veiled threats.

Gabby, who was made to believe the two were just good mates, appeared oblivious to the building tension between the two men.
When she commented on their coincidental meeting, Ally told the couple: "Mind-blowing isn't it. If I had known you lived around here, I would've called or something." And when Laurel asked how long Nicky and Ally have known each other, he said: "Oh, we go way back, don't we, Nicky? You wouldn't believe the things we've got up to."

Viewers are convinced the newcomer is up to no good and believe he might be an ex boyfriend or Nicky's criminal accomplice. The show's producer Jane Hudson recently teased that Nicky does have another secret.
She said: "There is something else you're going to learn and there is going to be someone from Nicky's past turning up as well and you'll be left wondering what that means for Gabby." Could that person from Nicky's past Ally?

Who is Emmerdale's Ally actor Josh Horrocks?
Josh Horrocks has taken up the role of newcomer Ally, however, it's not the first time we have seen Josh in the Dales, the actor previously guest starred in the soap back in 2020.
In his previous role, Horrocks played a character, also called Josh, who got chatting to Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) in the pub, shortly following her bowel cancer diagnosis.
Josh attended Christleton High School before going to London to train at the prestigious Arts Educational Schools London where notable alumni include Julie Andrews, Darcey Bussell, and the Strallen Sisters.
The actor has had a successful career in theatre having performed on stage since he was a child. One of his most notable parts was in Philip Ridley’s Moonfleece. Emmerdale appears to be Josh's breakthrough TV role.
