This year’s running of Leeds Festival marks 15 years since a particularly nostalgic event for many festival-lovers. Less than a decade on from first welcoming visitors to Bramham Park, Leeds Fest had already established itself as a firm favourite in the music calendar by the time the annual festival came back around in 2007.
For some, this represented a continuation of their love affair with Leeds Festival, for others it offered the opportunity to make first-time, unforgettable memories. We’re reliving the 15-year-old festival by recalling the complete line-up of artists entertaining crowds that year.
One festival reveller, Caroline Bower reminisced on 'having the time of her life' at the festival 15 years ago. She told LeedsLive: “It was an amazing weekend with amazing people. My personal highlights were Biffy Clyro and The Smashing Pumpkins who were both incredible."

Chris Batten of rock band Enter Shikari later recalled how he asked the crowd if they were up for attempting the crowd surfing record - if such a thing existed. The sight of hundreds of people being passed over people’s heads from the back of the tent to the front was a remarkable one, with Chris telling Leeds Fest how it “looked like hundreds of spiders”.
