NEW DELHI: Jammu's Vivrant Sharma hogged the limelight at the IPL 2023 auction in Kochi on Friday as the 23-year-old raked in a whopping Rs 2.6 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad snapped up the talented batting all-rounder after a fierce battle with Kolkata Knight Riders.

Starting off with Rs 20 lakh, the bidding war for Vivrant eventually went SRH's way as the franchise paid 13 times his base price.
