Vietnamese property magnate Truong My Lan has lost her appeal against a death sentence, handed down in April for her involvement in a massive fraud case.
The court's decision on Tuesday, December 3, means she can avoid execution only by repaying 75 per cent of the stolen funds — roughly $9 billion (£7.1bn).
