Chelsea and Arsenal are just two clubs looking at signing one of Brazil's top talents in coming transfer windows.
Having only made a handful of league appearances for Corinthians, Robert Renan's stocks remain high due to impressive outings for Brazil's Under-18 and Under-20 sides. He has also pushed through into the senior team at his club for the first time, with manager Vitor Pereira admitting that he wished he had trusted the 19-year-old sooner.
Having made his debut earlier this year aged just 18, Renan was a target for Wolves over the summer. They had hoped that a move for less than £10million could be completed, but new reports suggest it could cost Arsenal or Chelsea much more than that to sign the youngster.

According to a report in GOAL Brazil, Renan's release clause could be as high as £45m for clubs outside of Brazil, a stark contrast to the £10m Wolves were hoping to sign him for. He is also not without additional interest outside of the Premier League with Borussia Dortmund also registering their interest in the player too.
For Chelsea, Renan could become one of the first South American stars to be added to their youth system in a long time after unsuccessful transfers for Nathan and Wallace. In an early 2010s recruitment drive, the club also brought in Kenedy and Lucas Piazon, none of which remain at Stamford Bridge or had much enjoyment during their time on the books.
With new co-owner Todd Boehly keen to diversify the club's targets and add clubs to a new sporting group under Chelsea's umbrella, Brazil has been an area of interest for picking up hot prospects, developing them in closer contact and management of the club and also helping to earn visas.
Arsenal themselves have been looking in Brazil recently and beat Wolves to the signing of talented forward Marquinhos earlier this summer. The 19-year-old left Sao Paulo to join the Gunners for just £3m and has been impressing for the club's youth sides.
There is also further precedent of this at the Emirates with star of the season Gabriel Martinelli. He was purchased for £6m in 2019, aged 18, from fellow Brazilian club Ituano. Once more, Martinelli had no senior appearances in his home country but was developed at Arsenal and has gone on to become a breakout star of Mikel Arteta's side this season.
Wolves had planned for Renan to be part of their own youth system early on with integrated cup matches, a method that Chelsea and Arsenal would both likely use should they wish to do a deal for the youngster.
