Rev Flourish Klink, a New York Episcopal priest, has drawn national attention after a 21 March 2026 sermon in which they said they believed Jesus 'transitioned' at the Resurrection, describing the risen Christ as 'beyond male or female'.

Klink preached at the Cathedral Church of St John the Divine's Celebration of Trans Joy and Resilience, a service held around Transgender Day of Visibility.
