ITV's This Morning has confirmed who will be presenting the show on Tuesday, May 23. It comes after Phillip Schofield sensationally quit the daytime television programme over the weekend following the rumoured drama between himself and his co-host of almost 14 years, Holly Willoughby.
Reports of the pair feuding and "barely speaking" were rife before Phil announced he was stepping down from his role with a lengthy statement on Saturday, May 20. As he confirmed his exit, the 61-year-old stated ITV had "decided the current situation can't go on".
Phil's exit was with "immediate effect" meaning his last episode was on Thursday, May 18. Meanwhile, the broadcaster confirmed Holly, 42, was taking an early half-term break and wouldn't be returning to the show until Monday, June 5.

Following the drama, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, who usually host the show on a Friday and throughout the school holidays, stepped in. The pair opened the show with a "blink and you miss it" tribute to Phillip which sparked a huge reaction online.You can read more on this here.
Now, ITV has confirmed to WalesOnline that the pair will return to the show for presenting duties on Tuesday, May 23. They will be joined by guests including Wham's Andrew Ridgeley and money saving expert Martin Lewis.
Ending the show on Monday, May 22, Alison told viewers: "On tomorrow's This Morning, Wham's Andrew Ridgeley will be live in the studio to reveal how he's celebrating his 40th anniversary."
As Dermot added: "And money man Martin Lewis is going to help you with your financial concerns. We'll see you tomorrow!"
Phil sensationally stepped down from the show after 20 years on the sofa on Saturday. He said in a statement: "I have always been proud to cover fascinating stories on This Morning. But recently, This Morning itself has become the story.
"Throughout my career in TV – including the very difficult last few days – I have always done my best to be honourable and kind. I understand that ITV has decided the current situation can’t go on, and I want to do what I can to protect the show that I love.
"So I have agreed to step down from This Morning with immediate effect, in the hope that the show can move forward to a bright future. I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me – especially This Morning’s amazing viewers – and I’ll see you all for the Soap Awards next month."
Holly also released a statement, which read: "It's been over 13 great years presenting This Morning with Phil and I want to take this opportunity to thank him for all of his knowledge, his experience and his humour.
