Who is playing in the Champions League tonight – and how can I watch?

  • The Champions League returns on Tuesday night with six matches taking place across the evening.
  • Two English clubs will be in action, with Aston Villa facing an away fixture against Club Brugge at 5.45pm BST. The game will be available to watch in the UK on TNT Sports 1 and via HBO Max. The other 5.45pm BST match will see AEK Athens take on LASK, and that will also be aired on TNT Sports.
  • Meanwhile, Manchester City will travel to Portugal to take on Porto at 8pm BST. That match will be broadcast live for UK viewers on Amazon Prime Video.
  • Three other matches will also kick-off at 8pm, including Real Madrid vs Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund vs Villarreal and Lille vs Real Betis. These matches will be shown on TNT Sports.
  • City will be aiming to maintain their perfect start to the season after winning all three of their Premier League games, while Jose Mourinho will be facing the club he won the Champions League with back in 2010.
