Who is on tonight's episode of BBC Question Time?

THIS week's episode of Question Time is hosted in the city of Dundee and will be presented by BBC journalist, Fiona Bruce.

With Labour’s conference last week and Scottish Parliament back in session there will be plenty to discuss amongst the panellists.

The show will be available live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 8pm.

We’ve put together a list of who’s on the show.

Jenny Gilruth

Gilruth has been the MSP for Mid Fife and Glenrothes since 2016 for the SNP.

She is also the Cabinet Secretary for Education & Skills for the Scottish Government and is a former teacher.

Last month she called out Unionist MSPs over the impact of Westminster cuts in a debate on free school meals in Scotland saying, “This is their Union”.

Ian Murray

Murray is the Labour MP for Edinburgh South where he has represented the constituency since 2010.

Following Labour’s election victory in July, he was appointed as the Secretary of State for Scotland.

Last month Murray sparked confusion about whether £150 million was to be handed to the Scotland Office to directly fund anti-poverty schemes after he said a journalist made up the number.

Andrew Bowie

Bowie is the MP for West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine where he’s been representing the constituency since 2017.

He was previously the secretary of state at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero before the Tories left office in July.

Last week Bowie defended his colleague Kemi Badenoch after she suggested maternity pay was “excessive” saying her comments were “wilfully” misrepresented.

Wendy Chamberlain

Chamberlain is the Deputy Leader of the Scottish LibDems and has been an MP for North East Fife since 2019.

She is also the party's chief whip and said last month that her party “wants to do things differently” when talking about the SNP and Tories.

Iain Macwhirter

Macwhirter is a Scottish political journalist and has worked for the BBC for almost 20 years.

He published a documentary called the Road to Referendum, which accompanied a three-part television series of the same name on STV and ITV.
