The official start date of 2023 is fast approaching for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and before long, Ant and Dec will return to our TV screens every night, accompanied by a fresh group of stars.
The finest names in the industry are rumoured to be prepared to give up their luxurious lifestyles for the Australian camp, as the official and verified I'm A Celeb line-up is top secret.
The Sun has released an "official" cast list which seems to have upset a number of fans who claim that they will boycott the show if it is true.
The inclusion of Nigel Farage, the former leader of the Brexit Party and UK Independence Party, has infuriated viewers.
One user wrote: "Simply won’t watch #Imaceleb’s attempt at rehabilitating Farage on family-friendly TV."
While another added: “I do find it icky that ITV gives a platform to Nigel Farage on I'm a Celebrity. OK, so they may be setting him up for a fall. But he gets a fee, it boosts his profile and it's an endorsement of him as a public figure. Whole thing is problematic. #imacelebrity”
The former UKIP leader is reportedly in talks to join the ITV series in a rumoured £1 million deal, despite having previously ruled out an appearance as “humiliating”.
Farage himself has not confirmed the link. I’m a Celebrity… bosses said: “Any names suggested for I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! are just speculation. We’ll announce our lineup in due course.”
