Taylor Swift's 'Patient Zero' and Zelenskyy: WHO Update Puts Russian Plague Conspiracy in Focus

Online posts have linked Taylor Swift's song ‘Patient Zero’ and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to an alleged plague scenario without establishing evidence of a connection (Credit: TAS Rights Management)

The World Health Organization (WHO) said it had found no evidence of ongoing transmission linked to the unexplained death of a worker at a Russian anti-plague research institute. However, the cause of death remains unknown, and laboratory-associated exposure cannot be fully excluded. These findings do not substantiate online claims that Taylor Swift and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy predicted the incident.

The conspiracy links Swift's song 'Patient Zero', released on 25 September, to the worker's illness days later. A Reality Revolt video also names Zelenskyy. Separately, a Facebook Reel reportedly presents an investigation into a supposed biological threat in Russia.
