Who Is Niv Alexander? The Only Alexander Brother Not Charged in a Shocking Sex Trafficking Case

Niv Alexander has emerged as the lesser-known sibling in a family now associated with one of the most high-profile sex trafficking cases involving wealthy real estate figures in recent years.

While his brothers Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander were convicted in 2026 and sentenced to prison on federal charges including sex trafficking and sexual assault, Niv — the eldest brother — has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

The New York-based executive and nonprofit leader has largely stayed out of the spotlight, maintaining a career spanning journalism, private security and philanthropy while his brothers' legal troubles dominated headlines.

The Alexander Brothers' Case

The Alexander family drew global attention after Tal Alexander and twins Oren and Alon were arrested in December 2024.

Federal prosecutors in New York accused the trio of running a long-term scheme in which women were allegedly lured to luxury parties, trips and social events before being drugged or coerced into sexual encounters.

During the trial in Manhattan federal court, more than a dozen women testified about alleged assaults that occurred between 2008 and 2021.

A jury ultimately convicted the three brothers on multiple counts related to sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. They have since been sentenced to lengthy prison terms.

The case sent shockwaves through the luxury real estate industry, particularly in New York and Miami, where Tal and Oren had built reputations selling multimillion-dollar homes to wealthy and celebrity clients.

Why Niv Alexander Was Not Charged

Despite sharing the same family name, Niv Alexander was never charged in the federal case involving his brothers.

Court records show that the indictment named only Tal, Oren and Alon Alexander as defendants. Niv does not appear among those accused in the criminal proceedings.

The 45-year-old has attended several hearings during the trial in Manhattan, appearing in court as a supporter of his brothers, but he has otherwise remained outside the legal case.

There has been no indication in court filings that he was involved in the crimes for which his siblings were convicted.

Career in Media, Security and Philanthropy

Unlike his brothers, Niv Alexander built a career outside the luxury real estate business.

Early in his professional life he worked in journalism in Israel, freelancing for Yedioth Ahronoth and completing an internship with the newspaper Haaretz.

He later moved into the private sector, spending eight years in business development at Kent Security Services, a private security firm connected to the family.

Alexander also briefly worked as a consultant for JCS International before moving into nonprofit leadership.

From 2016 to 2019 he served as Director of Development at The Jerusalem Foundation's New York office. In June 2025 he joined the organisation's board as a member.

The foundation supports cultural, social and educational initiatives in Jerusalem.

Personal Life and Marriage to Cassie Arison

Niv Alexander is married to philanthropist Cassie Arison, the granddaughter of Carnival Cruise Line founder Ted Arison and daughter of Israeli billionaire Shari Arison.

The couple married in 2019. Shari Arison's wealth has been estimated at around $6 billion, significantly exceeding that of the Alexander family.

According to reporting by the Daily Mail, Niv divides his time between New York City and Bedford, an affluent enclave about an hour north of Manhattan.

When in Manhattan, the couple live in a Renzo Piano-designed SoHo penthouse that was featured in a 2022 issue of Architectural Digest.

'When I initially got to New York a decade ago, I lived in a loft on far west Broome Street,' Cassie told the magazine. 'It was wonderful to be able to sit by the window and watch my family's ships sail away.'

Cassie, a philanthropist and founder of As Promised magazine, has not been seen at the trial and remains active on social media.

As the legal fallout from the Alexander brothers' convictions continues to reverberate through the luxury real estate world, public attention has increasingly turned to the rest of the family. Yet despite sharing the same name, Niv Alexander has not been accused of any wrongdoing and remains on the periphery of a case that has dramatically altered the trajectory of his brothers' lives.
