When Luke Littler burst onto the darts scene last year, his life changed forever. The then 16-year-old went from a living life of obscurity to gracing the back pages of numerous papers and becoming one of Google’s top-searched terms in 2023.
Nicknamed “Luke the Nuke”, he became the youngest player to reach the PDC World Darts Championship and was credited for an uptake in interest in the sport – particularly from young people – with what has been dubbed the “Luke Litter effect”.
