Journalist and presenter Julie Etchingham has become a familiar face on television over two decades of broadcasting.
Starting her career as a trainee on the BBC, Etchingham became presenter of Newsround and then moved to Sky News, before her current role as newsreader with ITV News.
Having covered everything from the 2019 Tory leadership debates to the 2020 US Presidential Election, Etchingham has also become known for covering key royal events.
She took the lead in ITV coverage's of the Queen's Procession to Lying-in-State on Wednesday, September 14.
Outside of her high-profile job, Julie shares a very private relationship with husband Nick Gardner, a television producer. Here's a look at how the couple met and the 22 year marriage.
Who is Julie Etchingham's husband Nick Gardner?
Julie Etchingham's husband Nick Gardner was a television producer for the BBC children's show Newsround, on which Julie worked.
The pair fell in love and after dating for almost three years, they tied the knot in a private ceremony in Leicester in 1997 with just family and close friends present.
When did Julie Etchingham and her husband Nick marry?
Julie and Nick's 22-year-old marriage appears to be a blissful one. They have two sons together who were both born in London.
The pair seem to share a loving but very low key relationship. While Julie has social media where she occasionally posts photos of her sons, Nick has no social media at all.
Julie doesn't really mention the kids' names on social media – with Julie referring to them as number one and two – on her posts.
Meanwhile, Nick doesn't make any appearances along with his kids in public and Julie also protects her husbands privacy by never posting any pictures of him.
One of the only mentions she has made of her husband on social media was during Christmas 2019.
It appears that he was ill, as she tweeted thanking the staff paramedics of NHS and NNUH for taking care of her husband.
