Jake Quickenden sent Strictly Come Dancing fans wild after sparking rumours he could be set to join the 2022 lineup.
Rumours are rife over who will be featuring on the BBC show next year, but it was Jake that got tongues wagging when he sent out a "blatantly obvious" tweet, which could see him joining former Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas on series 20.
Jake said: "Has anyone who’s done dancing on ice ever done @bbcstrictly just wondering."
He has already appeared on major TV contestant shows like I'm A Celebrity and Dancing On Ice, which he won in 2018.
The 2021 lineup featured the popular Adam Peaty, Dan Walker and Tilly Ramsey, before it was eventually won by Rose Ayling-Ellis and her professional partner Giovanni Pernice.
Jake's fans loved the idea of home appearing on the show and once said: "Jake would be bloody amazing on Strictly."
Who is Jake Quickenden?
Jake Quickenden, 33, is a TV star and former X Factor contestant on two different series of the show.
The singer from Scunthorpe features on series nine of the mega-hit ITV talent show and re-appeared on series 11 two years later.
Lincolnshire's own made it all the way to the judges' houses in 2012, but Nicole Scherzinger felt he was not ready to take the next step.
Jake said: "I was devastated. I returned home and life just returned to normal."
He was a little more successful in 2014 but was eventually eliminated from the contest after finding himself in the bottom two with group Only the Young.
That same year was when Jake really began to find fame, appearing on I'm A Celebrity series 14. After he went into the jungle with former politician Edwina Currie on day five, Jake went all the way to the final days and finished runner up behind superbike racer Carl Fogarty.
Since, Jake's singing and acting talents have taken him to appearances on Hollyoaks and on stage in Footloose: The Musical.
Away from the stage, Jake is also a footballer, turning out for the likes of Lincolnshire-based Bottesford Town and Frickley Athletic.
Who is Jake Quickenden married to?
Jake is currently engaged to his fiancée Sophie Church, a former contestant on Celebs Go Dating.
The two share two children and another from one of Sophie's previously relationships.
Sophie and Jake got engaged on a romantic getaway in Rhodes and Jake took to Instagram in 2021 to announce the happy news.
"She said yes! The love of my life the mother to my beautiful Leo and Freddie, I love you so much. This isn't a drill it's actually happening."
Sophie said: "I said YES to the love of my life and my future husband.
"I couldn't have asked for a better stepdad for Freddie and father for baby Leo. Thank you for making this holiday so special! I love you forever."
Jake was previously with Danielle Fogarty, a model and daughter of the winner of the I'm A Celebrity series Jake was a part of.
Danielle and Jake were engaged, but split after his stint on Dancing On Ice.
