We’re one step closer to finding out who wins Australia’s most beloved culinary competition, MasterChef Australia. So, to keep you updated, here’s who made it into the MasterChef Australia finale.

ICYMI, we’ve officially reached the hot and heavy part of this year’s competition: the MasterChef Austalia semi final.
And in this year’s shebang, the two top dog spots will be up for battle between Aaron Kher, Petro Papathomas and Vinnie Gibaldi.
To secure a spot in the top two, Aaron, Petro and Vinnie must complete a two-course service challenge, with each contestant serving up food for more than 20 hungry diners with the help of newly-minted culinary zaddy, Andy Allen.
So, who made it into the grand finale?

The first person through to the grand finale is…. PETRO.
He served up a delicious beef tenderloin and Greek eclair.
The second person is…. VINNIE.
Vinnie served up a delicious porchetta with a tiramisu tart.
Unfortunately, that means Aaron missed out on a spot in the finale. However, the judges were completely blown away by his dessert, which was a tomato granita.
Australia’s new MasterChef will be announced in next week’s grand finale, which will kick off on Sunday, August 9 on Channel 10 and 10Play.
