The final of Eurovision 2022 is now very much on the horizon, with a whole host of countries ready to battle it out for the world famous music prize and Ukraine tipped to win.
It's been 12 months since rock group Maneskin brought the trophy home to Italy, meaning it becomes the host country for this year, with the Eurovision action centered on Turin's Pala Olimpico arena. This year's event got going with Eurovision semi final 1 on Tuesday, when hot favourites to win in the Eurovision odds, Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra made it through along with Norway's Subwoolfer. As all Eurovision fans know, every year certain countries get a guaranteed spot in the Eurovision final running order.
These are the 'big five' countries France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom, together with the host nation, with Italy falling under both brackets. The rest of the Eurovision countries had to compete in the semis with a hope to getting through, with 10 making it through the first semi on Tuesday and 10 from Thursday's Eurovision semi final 2, including Sweden's Cornelia Jakobs.

While the Ukraine have been favourites to win for a long time now, the UK's Sam Ryder has crept right into contention with his song Space Man, after a wealth of support for the TikTok star. Italy and Spain are also tipped to finish high up on the leaderboard along with Cornelia.
