They are Emmerdale's most famous family and their clan has just got even bigger. Christmas Day saw the arrival of Caleb Milligan as he confronted Cain Dingle in prison.
Will Ash, who starred in BBC's Waterloo Road, plays Caleb who is the secret brother of Cain and Chas Dingle. After their meet-up in prison, Cain warned Caleb to stay away from his family - but instead he confronted an emotional Chas in a graveyard and revealed he is in fact her sister.
The appearance of Caleb has left some fans scratching their heads as they tried to work out where he fits in the ever-confusing Dingle family tree. Thankfully, our friends at Mirror Online have helped to piece together the parts of the puzzle, with some confused about whether he is biologically related to Chas and Cain.

We know that Caleb is definitely the biological son of Faith Dingle, who recently died following a battle with cancer. Prior to the announcement by ITV bosses that he was due to appear on the show, Caleb's identity was a complete mystery.
But it wasn't just viewers who were in the dark - as his relatives had no idea he existed either. Cain met Caleb over 30 years ago, but turned him away with these moments set to be revisited during a special flashback episode.
Faith never mentioned she had a secret son and Cain has never brought up their meeting. We don't know yet who Caleb's father is.
The Dingles are a generally close family but we don't know yet if Caleb is biologically related to Cain and Chas' cousins. They include Charity, Mandy and Marlon Dingle. He is, however, definitely related to Cain's children - Nate, Debbie, Kyle and Isaac. He is also therefore related to Chas' children Aaron and Eve.
Because there are so many Dingles, past and present, it can get a bit confusing remembering who is related to who. Dingle patriarch Zak DIngle, who made an appearance during the Christmas special, is a dad to Sam, Bell and Cain. He is also an uncle to Mandy, Chas and Marlon.
He is not Chas' father, as her dad is Shadrach. Because Shadrach and Zak are brothers, Cain and Chas are first cousins as well as siblings.
Zak is also related to Charity, Noah and Moses through his cousin, Charity's father, Obadiah. Charity had a child with her cousin Cain named Debbie. April, Aaron, Eve and Leo are also all related to Zak, given he is the uncle of one of their parents. Zak is not related to Caleb as far as we are aware but we're sure we'll find out more about his heritage in episodes to come.
