Agostino Abbatiello, a 24-year-old Long Island native and former Penn State accounting student who made the Dean's List for three consecutive semesters, has surrendered to Pennsylvania authorities after prosecutors accused him of being one of the primary suppliers in an alleged cocaine-trafficking operation linked to two fraternity houses.
Abbatiello missed a scheduled arraignment on Monday before turning himself in on Tuesday. He was arraigned and ordered held without bail on multiple felony charges, including possession with intent to deliver cocaine, conspiracy and corrupt-organisations-related offences, according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office.
