People who are at a higher risk of developing "severe covid" are being advised to get a booster this spring and autumn.
The 2022 covid autumn booster vaccination campaign began in September last year with high uptakes for the (third) booster dose.
According to the Gov.uk website following the high uptake rates for the "initial (third) booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine in December 2021, further uptake has been low at less than 0.1 per cent per week since April 2022 in all eligible people under 50 years of age.
