Who do you think is to blame for the cost of living crisis?

As the cost of living crisis continues to rumble on, we want to hear where you think the roots of the problems lie. Households continue to feel the financial strain, with chancellor Rishi Sunak warning people of 'tough months ahead'.

The warning comes following news that inflation has reached an all time high of nine percent, according to the Office of National Statistics on Wednesday (May 18).

On the rising inflation rates, Sunak said: “Countries around the world are dealing with rising inflation. Today’s inflation numbers are driven by the energy price cap rise in April, which in turn is driven by higher global energy prices."

The chancellor also warned that the government 'cannot protect people completely' from the issues ahead but did promise 'significant support where we can'.

As concerns over the cost of living continue to grow, we want to know who you think is to blame for the current issues. To share your thoughts, you just need to fill in the below survey or follow this link if it's not displaying.
