Who are the commentators and pundits on the BBC this weekend?

The FA Cup is back this weekend – but who are the pundits and commentators on the BBC?

The Fifth Round kicks off with no obvious favourite for the trophy and the Beeb have got two clashes, as they share with ITV. Saturday's tea-time kick-off comes from the Amex, as Brighton and Hove Albion host Nottingham Forest, with both high-flying Premier League sides looking to book a spot at Wembley, before Sunday sees Aston Villa travel to Preston North End.

So, we're all set for an absorbing few days, and you can take it all in with a star-studded lineup of presenters and pundits, all kicking off on Saturday.

For some, it's the clash of the weekend. Brighton vs Forest could go either way and clearly the BBC agree with their stellar line-up.

The big guns are out, with Gary Lineker in the chair for hosting duties. Punditry lies with former Seagull, Glenn Murray, alongside fellow ex-forwards Theo Walcott and Wayne Rooney. Kelly Somers is on reporting duties, meanwhile.

Commentary is yet to be announced. The BBC's Gladiators takes a week's break, but given the strength of this line-up, it would seem that Guy Mowbray doesn't, as he'll likely anchor the gantry.

Our guess is that 90s icon Alan Shearer joins him, for another round of Lineker jibes about having never lifted the FA Cup.

Sunday sees the Beeb get the early kick-off, with Mark Chapman presenting proceedings from Deepdale, as Preston look to pull off one of the shocks of the season against Aston Villa. Chapman is, of course, a dab hand by now and in line for the Match of the Day gig next term.

Two former Villans join him at the desk, with Micah Richards and Homes Under the Hammer honcho Dion Dublin in tow. Joe Hart completes the team, offering the best posture in punditry.

Sarah Mulkerrins is the pitchside reporter for this one and rather like the Saturday kick-off, we don't know who will be commentating. Steve Wilson is the Beeb's no.2, with Martin Keown and Danny Murphy popular for co-comms.
