A Scottish couple appeared on Gogglebox for the first time in six years last night.
Roisin and Joe gave their opinions on a number of TV shows, including the likes of Love is Blind, Teen First Dates and Sunday Morning.
The Glasgow -based couple appeared alongside the usual line-up featured on the hit Channel 4 show.
Their appearance came after a number of Scots complained about the lack of Scottish representation on the programme.
Complaints even escalated to the House of Commons after SNP MP Pete Wishart raised the issue during a Scottish Affairs Committee session.
Here is what we know about the Scottish pair so far.
Who are the couple?
Roisin and Joe have been together for four years and currently live at Joe’s family home after moving in together at the beginning of the Covid lockdown.
Channel 4 has said that Roisin enjoys shopping, getting dressed up and socialising with friends.
Joe enjoys playing videos games, making pizza and spending time with Roisin.
They are the first Scottish people to appear on Gogglebox since the Manuel family - who last featured on the show six years ago.
What do they do for a living?
The Mirror reports that Roisin works full time at BBC Scotland as a Social Media Producers, according to her LinkedIn profile.
She also appears on The Nags and Brags podcast, which she hosts alongside Clyde 1’s Cassi Gillespie.
A description of the show reads: “A fortnightly podcast in which hosts Cassi and Roisin will find out what there is to nag about, and what there is to brag about - sometimes with a guest.
“Expect ridiculous rants, unexpected tangents and lots of bad language.”
Previous guests on the podcast include Scots RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Lawrence Chaney and comedian Susie McCabe.
Co-host Cassi spoke highly of Roisin ahead of her debut on Gogglebox last night.
She tweeted: “I couldn’t be prouder of my friend and podcast co-host Roisin and her boyfriend Joe making their TV debut tonight at 9pm on Gogglebox.
“Roisin is a natural talent, hilarious and an all round great gal.”
Very little is known about Joe so far, but we imagine that we’ll learn more as they appear regularly on Channel 4 every Friday night.
